Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing and managing the reporting on all production accounting activities across the organization. This candidate should have extensive experience with ProCount, Field Operator, and Texas regulatory filing procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for recording, allocating, and reconciling daily & monthly oil/gas production.
- Responsible for analyzing and reconciling production and sales data.
- Responsible for reconciling Purchaser Statements and Run Tickets, resolving any identified issues.
- Accountable for review Daily Drilling Reports, First Production & Sales Notifications, Schedule of New Wells, Production Flow Changes, and other and using these reports to create and maintain gathering systems and new well & completions or recompletions in ProCount
- Responsible for preparing reports on production allocations to be used for revenue distributions.
- Accountable for preparing and submitting regulatory filings related to production data.
- Assist with obtaining production data for both operated and non-operated properties for purposes of accruals.
- Assist with the integration of acquisitions as it relates to production data.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or manager
Qualifications & Skills
The qualifications and skills listed below are representative of those required to successfully complete the essential duties listed above.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related or accounting field is preferred.
5+ years of production accounting experience for an oil & gas operator or contractor is preferred.
Other Skills
Strong attention to detail
Works well alone with minimum supervision
Software Skills
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with P2 Screens, Metadata Configuration, Spotfire, ProCount and SQL is preferred.
