Position Summary

This position is for an individual with experience as an engineering analyst or data processor. They are responsible for assisting with organizing the data & software packages used by the engineers on the operations teams, preparing reports, tracking financials, general AP and invoice coding, reconciling payments and supporting the operations engineers with routine tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for tracking, invoice entry and coding, quality control checking and organizing financial performance data:
    • Ensuring WellView is up to date and accurate.
    • Analyze AFE vs. Field Estimate vs. Actual costs.
    • Enter and code AP invoices for all D&C vendors based on the Chart of Accounts.
    • Assist operations team with granular financial data by cost code.
    • Create charts that readily display and explain financial performance
  • Responsible for lookback performance analysis including:
    • Assist Drilling team in generating daily displays for rig performance
    • Assist Completions team with daily displays for pressure pumping performance
    • Assist Workover team with tracking any relevant data
    • Upload/ enter data necessary for performance analysis
    • Prepare documents showing performance over time
  • Responsible for AFE support including:
    • Set up and route new AFE’s as requested
    • Generate historical numbers
  • Responsible for bi- weekly Deep Dive meetings that review performance and cost structure.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices and accurate payments.
  • Support for invoices requiring coding, field signature, location ID and vendors inquiries.
  • All other duties and tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or manager.

Qualifications & Skills

The qualifications and skills listed below are representative of those required to successfully completed the essential duties listed above.

Education & Experience

GED required with a Bachelor’s or Associates degree desired

5 years’ experience as a data analyst and/or AP processor or required

Other Skills

Skilled at report generation and auditing

Balance multiple requests and present deliverables in a timely manner

Computer & Software Skills

Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Access skills

Familiarity with WellView

Spotfire and or PowerBI experience

Certificates and Licenses
